Geometry - Vertices And Edges

Reflection
I was learning to name 2D and 3D and count their vertices and edges.
In this activity I had to drag the right text boxes to the right shapes.
I found this easy because I have learnt a lot about 2D and 3D shapes before.
My next steps are to complete the activity faster.

Healthy Habitats - Explanation Writing

Reflection
In this activity my task was to write a piece of explanation writing with my buddy Sammy.
I found this hard because I'm not that good at writing explanations.
I am most proud of how me and Sammy worked together really well.My next steps are to put more quality in my explanation.

Multiplication And Division - Solving Problems

Reflection
In this activity my task was to solve these problems and show my understanding by writing other multiplication and division facts.
I found this tricky because I'm not really good at division but I'm good at multiplication even though they are basically just the opposite.
The most challenging part was solving the division facts.
My next steps are to solve the division facts faster and get better at division facts.

Wearable Arts Show - Sunglasses

Reflection
In this activity I made sunglasses for the Wearable Arts Show, making my sunglasses took a long time and I worked really hard on designing them!
I enjoyed painting my sunglasses.

Te Tuhi - My Dream House

In this activity I had to use geometric shapes to make my dream house.
I enjoyed drawing the inside of my house because I love designing!

EPS Values Sorting Activity

Reflection
In this activity I had to drag the sentences to the correct section with my buddy Lily.
I enjoyed working with Lily because we had to work together to find out which sentence belonged to which section.

100 Word Challenge - The Haunted Mansion

Reflection
In this activity my task was to write a 100 word story using the prompt, the prompt was a picture of a dark and spooky mansion and we had to write at least 3 similes.
I found this tricky because it was really hard to write only 100 words because I tend to write more than 100 words a lot!
The most challenging part was to write only 100 words when my brain was actually bursting with ideas!
My next steps are to include more than 3 similes in my writing

Venn Diagram - Comparing Characters

Reflection
In this activity my task was to sort out the difference between the Red Queen and the King and what they had in common.
I found this tricky because it was hard to think of what they had in common but I came up with Red, Royalty and Crown.
The most challenging part was to think of some describing words for the King.
My next steps are to be more specific.                                                                                                                               

Monster Poem - Leader Of The Snakes

Reflection
In this activity my task was to write a narrative poem about me and my monster going on an adventure. I found this tricky because the poem had to have a bounce to it. I was most proud of how even though I found this tricky I still didn't give up. My next steps are to try to make the poem rhyme.

Identifying Fraction

In this activity my task was to drag the fractions next to the matching fraction and I also had to work with a buddy, my buddy was Karman. I found this easy because I have learned fractions before. Kiwikids News

Reflection
I have been learning to summarise information. I summarised an article from Kiwi Kids News. I found this tricky because I did not know how a blood moon was caused. My next step is to finish the activity faster.

Extending Vocabulary

Reflection
In this activity my task was to find a word that I do not understand and find out what it means. I found this tricky because when I searched some of the words I did not understand the definition. The most challenging thing was to find out what nerve means. My next steps are to make my definitions more specific. 

Bin Sorting

In this activity I sorted out which  items go in which bin, my choices are compost, worm, landfill and paper and cardboard. I found this tricky because some of them I did not know which bin they go in. The most challenging thing was to choose a bin for the lemons because didn't know whether it was worm or compost, I decided on compost. My next steps are to compare and try to convince the other person. 

Flying Fungi

In this activity my task was to answer the questions on the online follow up. I found this tricky because I was stuck on the last question. The most challenging part was the last question, it was about photosynthesis I had to watch a video and finish a sentence that said photosynthesis is a process where. My next steps are to make the answers even more specific.

In this activity I had to put the animals in there best suited habitats. I enjoyed comparing it to a buddy and trying to convince each other.

Living And Non Living

Reflection
In this activity I had to sort out whether it was living or non living. I enjoyed comparing it with a buddy.

Place Value Partitioning

In this activity my task was to answer the questions using the split strategy. I found this easy because I have learnt about the split strategy before.  I am most proud of how I worked it out with a partner, just like doing team work. My next steps are to use the split strategy to work out four number digit questions.

A Moment In Time - ANZAC Poem

In this activity my task was to make a ANZAC poem. I found  this tricky because I had to think of a way to make it better once I am done. the most challenging thing was to pick out ANZAC pictures and making it pretty. My next steps are to use more interesting describing words and nouns.

In this activity my task was to collect data and make a bar graph with a buddy. I found this tricky because me and my buddy had to make sure we were not asking the same person.

Living Things And Habitats

In this activity I defined what a habitat and a living thing is. I enjoyed learning about habitats and living things. 

Word Scramble

Reflection
In this activity my task was to make my own word scramble with a buddy. I found this tricky because
 I'm not really good at ICT. The most challenging thing was to customise the colours. My next steps are to mix up the words a bit more. We found key words in the ANZAC poem, then used them to make our word scramble puzzles. I learnt how to make text boxes and change the background.

Dawn Parade Prior Knowledge

In this activity my task was to answer the questions with a buddy. I found this easy because I read a fact book about ANZAC day. The most challenging thing was to work with a buddy because we were both typing at the same time. My next steps are to get better at working with a buddy if we are typing at the same time.

Softball

In this activity I had to do a relay and I was in team yellow. I enjoyed how we had to work together as a team, we had to clap the other person's hand before the next person goes.

I found this hard because we had to look up some words and still we didn't really understand what the word means. the most challenging thing was to understand what the word heritage means. my next steps are understand the the words better.

In this activity my task was to write a biopoem. I found this tricky because I found the ' Who would like to ' part hard. The most challenging part was to  think of what my dream is. My next steps are to improve my typing speed.
