Bin Sorting

In this activity I sorted out which  items go in which bin, my choices are compost, worm, landfill and paper and cardboard. I found this tricky because some of them I did not know which bin they go in. The most challenging thing was to choose a bin for the lemons because didn't know whether it was worm or compost, I decided on compost. My next steps are to compare and try to convince the other person.

In this activity my task was to answer the questions on the online follow up. I found this tricky because I was stuck on the last question. The most challenging part was the last question, it was about photosynthesis I had to watch a video and finish a sentence that said photosynthesis is a process where. My next steps are to make the answers even more specific.

In this activity I had to put the animals in there best suited habitats. I enjoyed comparing it to a buddy and trying to convince each other.

In this activity I had to sort out whether it was living or non living. I enjoyed comparing it with a buddy.

Place Value Partitioning

In this activity my task was to answer the questions using the split strategy. I found this easy because I have learnt about the split strategy before.  I am most proud of how I worked it out with a partner, just like doing team work. My next steps are to use the split strategy to work out four number digit questions.

A Moment In Time - ANZAC Poem

In this activity my task was to make a ANZAC poem. I found  this tricky because I had to think of a way to make it better once I am done. the most challenging thing was to pick out ANZAC pictures and making it pretty. My next steps are to use more interesting describing words and nouns.

In this activity my task was to collect data and make a bar graph with a buddy. I found this tricky because me and my buddy had to make sure we were not asking the same person.

In this activity I defined what a habitat and a living thing is. I enjoyed learning about habitats and living things. 

Word Scramble

In this activity my task was to make my own word scramble with a buddy. I found this tricky because
 I'm not really good at ICT. The most challenging thing was to customise the colours. My next steps are to mix up the words a bit more. We found key words in the ANZAC poem, then used them to make our word scramble puzzles. I learnt how to make text boxes and change the background.
